Happy Sunday! I had the best night celebrating the marriage of two friends. Paris and I were lucky enough to have a night to ourselves. As much as I missed my little one, it was much needed husband and wife time.
Ephesians 4:2-3:"With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
We have to date our significant others. Part of the vows and the message yesterday said to vow to today and every day moving forward. Life isn’t all great, fantastic, completely fine every single day. It was a great reminder of how much you have to work every day.
1 Peter 4:8:"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins."
You not only have to be each other’s partner in life as husband and wife, but you are each other’s support system, house cleaning partner, cooks, etc. You are going to be a team, you are equal partners and just need to show love and affection whenever you can.
So when you commit to each other for life its not just for love, it’s for the good the bad and the ugly. You vow to be with someone until the end. I am the happiest when I am with my family, as momma daddy and Reese. Just the three of us. We are a family but we also need to grow together as a couple and be there always.
1 Corinthians 13:4-5:"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs."
